This complex project involves a pin tuck cornice from which swags and jabots are attached.
The Swags and jabots are banded in a darker shade of bronzey beige silk.
This treatment fit into the box bay window perfectly. The window-seat cushions I made had angle joints.
I call these ballroom curtains, because they remind me of a ballgown. The top part has a pattern I invented to create a look my customer wanted. It is shirred along the side to create many folds and then stitched to the edge of the panel. The top of the treatment is hung from the poles by decorative cording in pale turquoise. The poles are a shimmery antique silver finish.
I can't believe I don't have a full length view of this one! Pink strie pole swags and jabots hanging from gilded 2"poles. The plaster stencil work and faux painting was done by Marilyn from @LeeDesignsBoston. I specified paints BM Brookline Beige, Bradstreet Beige, and Sunset Hill (pink) #1212. Marilyn applied gold over the raised stencil to highlight.
