I have finally finished the tree...
I kept adding little touches,
like sheer pink ribbon and
2 dozen hot pink vintage balls.
Some tree candles in gold glitter too.
The tree candles are a Scandanavian tradition.
Peeking through my window at night the room looks so inviting.
I have been playing around with the piano corner.
Its the hardest spot to decorate.
My winter frolic banner is hung...
I spotted that at my friend Nita's blog and she shared
where she got it...bloggers are buddies!
I added a pink poinsettia over here, but it still needs more work.
A piano player is coming Christmas Eve to
play carols for us! What a treat!
Pretty sheer pink ribbon with
vintage pink ball....I love pink.
Our house is the kind of house that needs a big red bow on
the front door wreath.
Even I, the queen of pink, understand that!
So Merry Christmas to all of my blogger friends!
I count you in my blessings.
Gorgeous! I love all the pink. Great job on the tree. I like the touch of blue, too.
ReplyDeleteAnd your mantle is beautiful. I like that architectural looking piece over it, what is that from?

I love your beautiful tree and the view from the outside in is stunning! I am in love with the pediment above your mantel, it's the prettiest piece that I've ever seen. I heart it big time!!
I hope you have a beautiful Christmas and enjoy your Christmas caroles!

Everyone comments on my pediment over the mantel. It came from Home Goods and it is a lightweight carved faux plaster piece. I have never seen another one like it.

Oh Amy,
ReplyDeleteI so love it! You are a girl after my own heart, yesterday I was thinking... "what if I take a photo from the window looking in?" I love what you've done here. Are you like me and like to get a glimpse into decorated house at twilight? Okay, I know.. bad, but love it.
Your home is beautiful.
Merry Christmas, it's been lovely getting to know you this year.
