Pink New Years

It's almost New Years..
Time for celebration...
a toast to the coming year and all of it's possibilities...
Have you started your list of what you want to get done?
After I put away my Christmas stuff....
I might borrow this RL dress from Gwyneth...

Or just slip on my comfy moccasins...
and start making some house plans, you know,
things you want to change around the house....
you all know I am making my bedroom over,
and it includes keeping the dark wood furniture....dark!
and some florals, but not this many...
and not quite as pink, but I still gotta have some pink...
and once spring comes I will be working on my garden plans....
so those are some of the things that I will be doing in the coming new year.

I'll be thinking big!
Won't you join me in the fun?

  7. I just found your blog and I have to say that keeping your dark wood, dark, is a good idea. Although, I do love all of the vintage white looks too. I have some expensive dark wood that I can't bring myself to painting white. I am excited to follow your projects.
    Happy New Year.

  10. Sounds dreamy, Amy! Glad to hear you're keeping your dark furniture, dark. I love white but I'm not one for painting great quality furniture over for certain.

Love your new blog look (or new since I've last visited), the fleur de lys w/the rose is lovely, really caught my eye as soon as the page opened.

Chat w/you next year. All the best for 2011, it's been nice getting to know you this past year and look forward to more visits to come.

  11. Pink is a great color for New Years and since Honeysuckle Pink is the the hottest color for 2011, you start the New Year off on a trend. I made a honeysuckle pink macaron on my blog that would go quite well in one of your pink rooms. See for yourself at http://www.greeneyedsusan.blogspot.com
