See Annie Sloan in action~

I found this cool video and was transported to Annie Sloan's shop in England
when I hit play~it shows her painting a chest of drawers in her shop alongside her family and the women she has working in her shop...looks like a charming little interior design shop she has over there~I will be meeting her tomorrow and will be taking my own videos and pics to share.  Hope you like this little movie as much as I did, I found it quite revealing. I'd love to hear what you think of it...
After you click on the big arrow you can click on the lower right hand corner where you see a 4 corners emblem and it will show up full screen so you can see it better.

  1. GREAT video. What an unassuming little shop there. I LOVE the dynamics between them all...and isn't that Rose cute? Did you happen to notice the male sculpture in the bathtub behind Annie & her son just towards the end of the film? Hysterical. Have fun and take lots of pictures! xo Diana

  2. I enjoyed watching that video. It was fun to see her little part of the world. She has such a small shop. I wouldn't have guessed it to be so humble. I know you're going to have a fun time at the seminar and share lots of her tricks with us. Right?

  3. Hi Kelley and Diana, Yes I was surprised it was so tiny and simple~kind of like a shop in an old village setting you might stumble across in a fairytale visit...I will be sharing everything I learn at the workshop~

  5. Hi Amy,
I have seen this video so many times and never clicked on it to actually watch it! Thanks for the kick in the pants. I love to see how people live in other parts of the world and experience their surroundings. This was wonderfully filmed. I should be commenting on Annie or our shop or her painting but what really caught my eye was the diner she was eating in. I love the man in the bathtub!
Have so much fun and I for one can't wait for pics and to hear all about it!

  6. I wondered who was going to get to see her in person. I wonder in England knows how popular she is in the states?! I know she does by her paint sales.

Also updating a media unit with Pure White... I didn't buy a special brush and I'm worried about what to use right from the hardware store on wood that you want a smooth finish??

  9. Cute film... I love the way she works the paint brush, like it's no big deal, just brushing it on... I can't wait to hear all about your workshop.

  11. Thank you for the vid. If you can, and you get this request in time, please find out what she was doing with the rag at the end. Was the paint wet or dry?
