Beautiful antique stamped brass cornices

Just a peek at what I am working on...I took these pics with my iPhone~
I found a bunch of Victorian era stamped brass cornice boxes
 tucked away in a corner at an antique shop in NH.
I have been busy reworking them for my living room windows.
My day had the living room looking like this.
By supper time, I had one done...so here is a sneak peek!
 I'll have the other one up tomorrow morning
and hope to share it all then!

    From the first photo I didn't think I was going to like them but then you showed the preview and I DO like them. They look really good with the smocked tops of your curtains.
