I haven't photographed our living room and dining room
recently, so I thought you might like to see it.
Some seasonal decorations are up for the fall and Thanksgiving.
I like to put wreaths on my mirrors. I found some wonderful wreaths
at HomeGoods. They are not just for front doors you know!
This mini-pumpkin wreath is so cute
and its in natural colors that work well
with my living room palette.
I hung tiny wreaths on the curtain holdbacks too.
HomeGoods also had some other things I grabbed
like this burlap and lurex runner and the wheat shaft in a
decoupaged pot. My vintage dinnerware collection
includes white with gold rimmed dishes and glasses.
The old gilt rococo mirror in the dining room has a wreath on it too.
We will be adding a leaf or two to the table for dinner.
But for now this is how we use it on a daily basis.
Tobey always sneaks into the frame, I do not know how he does it,
but he will just appear out of no where when he hears me taking pics.
I hang the wreaths on the mirrors by tying a ribbon
on the wreath loop and then hang it over the
top of the mirror. We sell this awesome skinny
velvet ribbon in the shop and its perfect for doing this,
as well as using on ornaments.
Its simple and its a great way to make the room feel like its fall.
I have a few more decorating ideas in the dining room
that I hope to get done before turkey day.
How are you doing on that front?
