One Fabulous Victorian

This is a great house!
Look at all the gables, the turret
and the gingerbread trim, oh my!
Would you like to come in?
This home was built in this century (1993), not last.
I love those full sized topiaries and the stone steps.
A painted lady in a classic two tone taupe
with ballet pink, rose and butter yellow.
A full wrap around porch. Note the pink ceiling.
A marvelous stained glass front door
This house has many bells and whistles~
Come and take a peek!
A lovely bridal staircase sets the stage for more to come.
The walls are painted a soft silvery sage.
The living room bay window is only one of many.
An antique mantel with gas insert offers the best of both worlds.
The Restful and Elegant Living Room
The Gracious Dining Room
The bay window is beautifully dressed
to show off the long windows.
The ceiling medallion calls attention to the high ceilings.
Paneled wainscoting, angled walls,
built in china cabinet (not shown)
and dentil crown molding are other custom details.
Between the living room and the dining room is a french door
for access to the back end of the wrapped porch.
This custom kitchen speaks of country elegance!
The cabinets are rustic pine with dentil crown molding,
done in an ivory distressed finish.
A bump out bay with built in banquette
seating has a custom made table to fit the space.
 Kitchen island houses the cooktop.
Countertops are white Corian.
Wall paint is Wet Concrete by Benjamin Moore.
A custom stained glass piece
is set in the transom above the kitchen sink.
Country style elegance with swedish dish rack,
apothecary drawers
and an arched cut-out valance over
a display shelf for your collections.
The Family Room
A pink ceiling and yellow walls make for one happy space.
This room is so charming!
A french country chandelier
Lets head back toward the foyer...
The home office is located in the
turreted section of the front of the home.
Plum ceiling with dijon and gold wall color.
The most fabulous oversized window!
Steal a peek at these: Napolean Draperies
Done by moi in a velvet paisley and taffeta plaid
accented with miles of tasseled cording!
This Toile fabric inspired the room palette.
I could sit here and pay bills all day long and still be smiling!
Another example of no expense spared.
The Kohler commode and pedestal are simply gorgeous!
Floral pedestal stands on the pretty aqua floor tile.
Gold lettered lyrics "Just another day in paradise" ,
a favorite country song, are hand painted
over hand done stripes in pale yellow and white.
The Master Bedroom
Wall to wall French doors lead to a Romeo and Juliet balcony
that overlooks the private back yard!
An oyster colored carpet in silk and linen damask~true luxury!
An 8 light chandelier in ivory with petite crystals!
Sweet Dreams
Luscious beyond words
This room also has a walk-in closet, of course!
The master bathroom is right off the bedroom.
This bath has a full size jacuzzi tub with
a fabulous bridge mounted faucet
surrounded by a fantasy mural depicting ancient times.
The colors are soft and enchanting.
Faux painting of plaster cracking to reveal brickwork.
A study in elegance...
A second floor laundry in ballet pink~divine!
A charming bedroom with yet
 another triple angled window group.
With a built in desk for that studious child.
A breathtaking bedroom in the turret with 13" ceilings
and gothic celestory windows!
Your guests will never leave.
Its hard to believe that this house is not vintage!
What a darling room...
The  porch winds around to the back
and bumps out here off the kitchen.
You find yourself nestled in the woods!
The stairs lead down to another deck with hot tub!
A charming archway leads to a screened in gazebo.
A pair of heart shaped chairs hold court
in front of the gingerbread style gazebo.
A cute saltbox shed holds your garden tools.
This yard is filled with perennial gardens.
It has a small koy pond with water feature.
The homeowner loves to garden
and this property is a show stopper!
Let me say goodbye to this "old" house...
as it is a home of a good friend of mine and they are
now selling this dream home to pursue their retirement.
I caught my friend Sue, in the looking glass.....
It was a pleasure helping you decorate this home
and I wish you much happiness ahead!
