The day before the election I got the news that my living room was chosen to
grace the cover of the Spring issue of Romantic Country magazine!
Its been a tumultuous week, and this indeed was a high for me.
I couldn't be more excited to check this off my bucket list, making the cover.
As one who loves the printed page in both decorating books and magazines,
this is truly the things (little) dreams are made of.
A sneak peek is all I can give you, and my story starts here.
Hands-On & Heartfelt
A few days after Fifi O'Neill had left from shooting my home,
she sent me the finished photos. I still am not sure if those are the ones
that will make it to the magazine, but I was excited to see how lovely they were.
Then a couple weeks later, the writer assigned to put the photos together with
words to create a story about me (and my home and style), gave me a call.
I had a phone interview with writer Sandra Soria, and we spoke for an hour
about all things related to my decorating pursuits and more.
Then she took our talk created a story from the bits and pieces..
I can't wait to read it. I like what I see so far....
(Sandra and I had many points of connection, including Matthew Mead,
as they used to work together on Country Home magazine.)
This issue will be out in a few weeks and will be available at local drugstores
and Barnes and Noble and the like.
In the meantime I have to jump ahead in seasonal decorating and start
my Christmas decor because as a blogger, thats just how it is...
we are sources of inspiration for many folks, and we often do sponsored posts
to promote Christmas items like trees and such. So get ready for beautiful
Christmas ideas, and if you aren't ready, I get it.
And in the middle of all things Christmas, I will be posting about my Spring issue!!
