A sampler of roses

Sharing some of the roses I have in my garden today...
Shades of salmon, pure pink and pale lavendar...
This modern funky square vase was a gift from my son and his girl friend
and has a different image in pink and aqua on each side of the vase.
A romantic version of a Staffordshire dog~
covered in pink and green flowers, its very sweet.
The oatmeal linen circle with pink embroidered flowers came from Rustique.

These roses all have lovely fragrances which does not leave
you disappointed when you go in for a sniff.
Roses can be beautiful, but lacking scent, what is the point?
I'll be giving these to my mother in law as a gift.

Beautiful! My roses were doing well in the beginning but with all the rain we had in June they soon turned into soggy mops on stems! It's nice to see yours doing so well. I love that vase and sitting on the white table it really accentuates it!~Hugs, Patti

Salmon colored roses are my absolute favorite. At my old house I had a huge tropicana rose bush. I had one here too but it didn't do well...not enough sunlight. I love that vase too.

The nice thing about using roses from your own garden is that they have a longer shelf life. I bought some at the market on Friday, and they are already wilting.

If I were really rich, I'd have fresh flowers, especially roses, throughout the house every day. Beautiful bouquet, and I like the vase too. I had seen a very similar one (probably same maker/line) at TJ Max around Christmas time and thought about buying it for my daughter. I like the whimsy of it there in your living room.

Hi Amy,
I love your roses and I miss mine. I had our lawn guy take out some shrubs that the deer keep eating and he removed the rose bushes too!!

Oh well.

Anyway, I'll enjoy yours. I love the vase too, very sweet. Thanks for the sweet comments on my new addition of yellow. Means a lot to me when you like something I do.

hugs

Beautiful! This is one thing I miss in my current yard. I use to have rose bushes lining up the entire side of my last home. Thanks for the reminder that I need to find a special place for at least ONE fragrant rose bush!

Hi Amy
I want to curl up in that over stuffed chair of yours while reading poetry or an inspiring magazine while letting the roses fill my soul with beauty!

Your roses are gorgeous! I can tell they get alot of TLC from you. As much as I love them, mine have been neglected this summer, and it shows. Never pruned them, fed them once, and they are on their own. Sure enjoying looking at yours though!
