These window treatments I just installed are quite extravagant!
Pole swags and jabots over ruffled panels, all in silk!
There is 4" beaded trim applied to
pale melon silk pole swags and jabots.
pale melon silk pole swags and jabots.
They hang from burnished gold poles with carved finials.
The melon swags hang over penny colored silk panels.
The panels have 18" ruffles and an organza
sheer metallic banding with peach beaded soutache braid.
Ooh la la~

I had the walls painted in BM Bradstreet Beige on top
with BM Brookline Beige on the bottom.
The ceiling is Sunset Pink.
The client's furniture has a pickled finish
which looks great with these
soft beiges, melons and coppers
that hint at the pinkness in the furniture.
Elegance with plenty of details
A center ascot marries the two pole swags on the double window.
Center style jabots are used on the ends for a twist.
They fan out showing off the melon and amber crystal trim.
This treatment has the WOW factor,
which is what my client desired.

These are absolutely gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteHoly, Moly, what a DIFFERENCE! The drapes are so elegant... yes, they do have a definite "wow" factor. I think your wall color choices and the use of melon and copper in the fabrics are just perfection. GORGEOUS!
ReplyDeleteOh my GOSH Amy... they are absolutely BEAUTIFUL! What a great color scheme to bring the pickled wood finish out of the 80's-90's and make it a positive feature! These trims are just exquisite - the burnished gold is the perfect color for the hardware, the finished 'after' room is absolutely to DIE for. I'm sure your client is thrilled, she will have the most beautiful dining room in town for her Thanksgiving feast! You did a fabulous job...
